Hello all.
Let me start, saying, that I use Bambu Studio not in the same network segment as my P1S printer. I transport my projects by SD card.
With a downloaded 3mf from i.e. Makerworld, I import its colour settings in Bambu Studio. I.e. the model expects black PLA on AMS position 1 and white PLA on AMS position 2. Is there a simple way to tell the model, that my AMS has this on different positions?
Changing the colours, changes the look of the model, as it works with AMS offset.
I tried to edit the files inside the 3mf (i.e. filament id (slice_info.config) and/or filament_colour array (project_settings.config))
After all I surrendered and switched the spools in my AMS.
Any hint is welcome
You have to click on “Objects” to see the model color & number…you might have to click on the padlock to make your changes.
Click on color you want to change & it will bring up all the slots you have filled & you can choose what you want. Re-slice after, because sometimes it makes changes to multi-color prints that are not acceptable.

Hello,
I’m facing the same issue with the model on Plate 2:
squid Game Character Faces - Plate 2 makerworld dot com slash fr/models/915702?from=search#profileId-877144
When I open the file, I have to perform a resynch, but after that, the colors are incorrect. I tried selecting objects under the Objects menu, but I can’t change the colors for the square, circle, or other parts individually.
Could it be that the 3MF file doesn’t allow this kind of modification?
Is switching the spools in the AMS the only solution to fix this?
Thanks!
Open the file, slice, select print.
NOW see if the auto-detect has matched the selected filament ps with those in your AMS, tweak any that haven’t by using the down chevron in each swatch.
No need to sync anything.
You can do the identical thing if you went via Bambu Handy.
Thanks ! Indeed , on the last step, just before launch the print i can switch the color, Thanks you !
