@Barryg41 Except all those pretty images are for the X1C not the P1S. I donāt have a P1S to check but the console images Wiki provides only has a āReset Printerā with no explanation of multiple AMS units. Does that reset turn the printer into a log or does it only reset the AMS units?
@beatle Is the AMS button show on your console as shown in the first picture of the link above? Press that and see if thereās new options not shown in Wiki. Thatās my best guess here.
On the P1x (firmware 1.05.02.00) the reset Id is available via display menu:
You can find it in the settings where you can control the temperatures, fans, light and now AMS.
Great, thank you! I donāt think I ever noticed a little down arrow on the second screen. I reset the AMS and reconnected the units in the order in which I want them to appear and it worked.
This should really be added to the instructions in the wiki.
Man Iām so sorry. I completely glossed over the P1 mention in your post.
Thanks to @print.in.3d ! It looks like you got your problem fixed.
Thanks to @Ken-N-Texas for letting me know also.
No worries, Iām not free to point a finger since I glossed over that arrow in the second menu. I am just glad the solution is there. I hope todayās posts help someone as I had searched but not found the answer.
I found it on the wiki page for Tips AMS ID assignment. Unplug all AMSās hit the settings in filament on the touch screen and reset AMS info and then plug your first one that you want to be A1 and so forth. PS you shouldnāt have to redo the filament thatās in each AMS. I didnāt so who knows
I had same Issue with my three AMS. The last added became A the first B and last C.
In Bambu WiKi I found that you need to reset the AMS IDās on the panel of the printer. All must be connected while resetting.
