Thank you for your valuable feedback. For the part near the PCB board, it is recommended to use two components to clamp it or fix it with glue. For the other end, you can use two components to clamp a short section of the light strip and attach a 4x2mm round magnet to it. The magnetism of 304 stainless steel is weak, so it is recommended to use the BT3x8 SHSS - AA108 self-tapping screws from Maker’s Supply to fix on the opposite side of the magnet. The carbon steel screws are able to provide appropriate tension to straighten the light strip without checking the magnet’s polarity during assembly.
Currently, we are collecting feedback from the community and providing user examples or solutions for similar problems. Later, we will provide more information such as suitable magnets, screws, and their spacing during straightening for each length of the COB light strip on the product details page to assist our creators.
Please let us know if you have more questions. We are happy to assist you and will improve the relevant information for each Maker’s Supply part.
