First you need to merge the parts to together (select both, right click, “Merge”)
Then use the assembly view button in the top right
Then “Assembly” (top right again or keyboard shortcut “U”) and select the faces you want to mate.
Once the faces are selected, click the “center coincidence” button
This will mate the parts
Click “return” in the top left and you will be back to the build plate view
