Is there a way to preset temperatures for a print?
Yes, you could “preset” the nozzle temp and heatbed temp, which inherently would increase the chamber temp (albeit slowly).

Nozzle and bed temperatures are set by editing the filament profile.
Studio only allows you to set a chamber temperature for models with a chamber heater, the X1E and H2? models (I think).
You can manually preheat the X1C or P1S chamber for filaments that need more heat. Set the bed to maximum temp and circulate the air with the auxiliary fan, wait 15-20 minutes before beginning the print.
OrcaSlicer and some custom start G-code can use the X1C chamber temp sensor to automate the preheat process.
Why does the Nozzle set temp constantly change as it’s running? Is there something I need to set so it doesn’t do this? I was trying some Elegoo PTEG with the Bed temp of 70 deg and Nozzle temp at 255 deg. Parts aren’t sticking, even tried a slower speed. These are small pieces, 8-32 cap nuts. Going to try them with Bambu PLA and see it they’ll print with that.
I suggest just setting the Elegoo Rapid PETG filament preset as the Bambu Labs PETG HF preset, it should work flawlessly as the printing settings are almost identical, I’ve used the Bambu profile for Elegoo without issues, but YMMV.
To answer your question, though, different tasks the printer does will use different temperatures for the nozzle and bed, temps change depending on the task, filament, speed, etc. In order to manually set the nozzle/bed temperature for the actual model you’re tying to print, initiate the manual change once the printer starts to print your model. Also, don’t forget the first layer may have different printing temperatures than the rest of the layers, you can also wait for the first layer to finish before manually changing the temp settings.
Ultimately though, using the Bambu profile for your filament may just make this whole process much easier. if you want to create custom profiles, that’s a whole other subject, and I can point you in the right direction if you’d like, let us know.
You’re going to need to expand on this
You set your nozzle to 255 in slicer. You send it to your printer. Are you saying that after calibration, during printing, the temperature display on the pad of the device reads NOT 255 as it’s set point? Or are you concerned that the measured temp appears to fluctuate? It is normal for the measured temp to fluctuate +/- 1-2 degrees as the heater works on a duty cycle.
I ran it with PLA and it printed what I wanted fine. Going to try with Bambu PTEG-HF preset like someone suggested. I’ll post how it comes out.
I used the Bambu PTEG-HF but it came up with a bed temp of 50 deg. I changed it on the Device screen to 70 deg and that is what it needed. The settings for the Bambu PTEG-HF was 70 deg but when it started it was 50 deg. Nozzle temp it ran was 220 deg, thought it would be higher but it ran ok. Thanks for all the suggestions.
If it showed up as 220nozzle/50bed I’m thinking you ended up slicing it with a pla filament set on your slicer. Send a screenshot of the prepare tab if you think you need more help
I set the filaments in #1 & #2 to Bambu PETG-HF like I did for #3 and the bed temp came up at 70 deg and the nozzle temp was 245 deg once it finished all the bed leveling stuff. It printed well so after it was done I moved it to spot #1 set as Bambu PETG-HF and #2 as basic PLA. printing well again. I want to make a AMS Riser and have several rolls of Bambu PETG-HF Gray that I’ll drop into slot 3 or 4 and see if it runs with the temps it should. Thanks for all the help!
