Is there anyway to send a print to the SD card while the printer is printing without being in LAN only mode.
Yes, select the “send” instead of “print plate” in Bambu Studio.
When you send an object to print, the model is written to the SD card inserted in the printer.
Or, in the green button at the far right, click the dropdown arrow and select “Export” to save the file manually.

if I just click print plate, where is the file being stored on the printer? I understand it gets sent via cloud, but is it stored as a temp file somehow somewhere on the “ram” of the printer or what?
When I try to send a plate, it asks me for the IP, when I put in the IP which I have double checked and tried multiple times, it tells me that it is unable to connect to the printer. I have verified that they are on the same Wifi. Now I disabled and enabled LAN only mode and it is giving me an error saying printer is already bound when I try to send a print.
It depends on the printer. The x series it stored it in ram, the P and A series it transfers it to the SD card.
I have this same exact issue. I wish I knew what the fix was.
My Workflow makes sense for me to send a bunch of files to the SD card and then when a print is done, go to the printer, take print off, clean bed, select new print from SD card.
Sadly still haven’t found a solution, tried changing the access code and disconnecting and reconnecting the printer to Wi-Fi but nothing worked.
