I doubt the error I have is necessarily related to the firmware, but just in case:
I wonder if anyone else who updated today is suddenly experiencing a 3 phase wire error on their HT?
Printed some parts this morning out of this AMS, everything worked fine. The last time I ran a drying cycle was… a day or two ago? Was working fine since.
Got home and cleared the bed to find the printer suggesting a firmware update.
So naturally I ran the update. Wasn’t even in the room, nothing was moved, bumped, etc.
Immediately after coming back online now it says my formerly functional ams has the assist motor 3 phase wire error.
- Shut it down, waited several minutes and turned it back on. Nothing.
- Unplugged everything and waited. Nothing.
- Tore it apart, checked connection. Seems fine. Nope.
- Reseated it. Nada. Still says resistance error.
- Reseated it again, says the motor winding is bad.
- Reseated again, says its not connected at all.
- Multimeter on the pins show no (obvious) issue with the wires in the cable.
Reverted firmware, no change - so going back to the latest for the rest of the hardware.
Given the above, it seems to me like there a bad connector on one end or the other.
Anyone else?
