I am relatively new to the 3D printing but I have been enjoying making models and publishing ithem for the community to enjoy. For some reason that I couldn’t yet understand, some of my models are shown at MakerWorld to be compatible for P2S only and some are for a limited set of printers.
I can’t figure out what the heck is going on. Here is one of the models:
It shows to be available for P2S only while model has two plates, one color per plate, nothing special and the objects on each plate should even fit on an A1 mini.
Well the first print profile has 2 objects on 1 plate in different colours, and that won’t fit on an A1M for sure, do you have print by object enabled, because that will generally break support for other printers
You have to be careful with how you set the print profiles up, as it’ll affect which printers it’ll be compatible with.
On that model, it’s setup with print by object. That’s likely the cause.
Also, as far as fitting on the A1 mini. The parts may fit, but the plate isn’t arranged in a way that’d allow it to downsize to the A1 Mini’s bed size. Makerworld wont automatically re-arrange a plate to work with other printers. It has to be arranged by the designer ahead of time.
In the past when wanting to make sure something will print on the A1 Mini, I’ve arranged the plate in Bambu Studio with the A1 Mini selected, and then just switched it over to X1/X2, whatever.
