I thought I found a stray piece of black plastic on my H2D left print head and it turned out to be a wire after I really, really tugged on it. 
Is the part below the correct replacement part (and only part) that I need to fix my blunder???

funny. same thing happened to me a few days ago. Silly mistake. That said ideally those wires would not be that exposed
Yes it appears to be the correct part. might make sense to have one at hand as a spare.
in my case I managed to solder the stripped/broken wires back together and re assembled everything. I only consider it a temporary fix though until the other part arrives, and will not run the printer unattended/overnight until it is replaced. (delivery is very slow where I live)
