I have an A1 that I received about a week and a half ago (I’ve printed 4 1/2 things with it) and I have a jam right above the hot end and it seems like it snapped right above. I am unable to push it out and new filament won’t push it out. What should I do?
What I did with my P1S was just heat it to 280 and push new filament through as hard as possible.
Ok I’ll try that. Thanks. I’ll let you know if that works
If things get jammed between hotend and extruder I usually free the teflon tubes and push filament manually until I have enough to take things out.
Once the filament is cut it quite easy to spot where things are stuck, usually in the worst possible place.
In case the filament cutter is still functional use it by hand so you take off the hotend before taking out the extruder.
I have a cheap hobby knife set that I only bought because it came with a very slim blade.
Slim enough to fit in the cavity under the extruder wheels.
Bit of a pain to wiggle the tiny blade and to cut the filament to get a blob out but works.
I can’t tell from your post if you are talking about the extruder or the filament hub, but here is a link for the hub.
