resetting the right nozzle to defaults. I stopped printing one month ago, waiting for a fix to that. Yesterday I repaired and saved my best profile for the nth time. I hope it was the last time.
If you are experiencing the same issue I am, where profiles randomly end up with strange settings, I have some updates.
I have been dealing with this problem for several months, and it became worse with the beta version of Bambu Studio. Initially, I noticed random profile changes when cloud sync was enabled, which I temporarily solved by disabling profile cloud sync. This worked until the beta Studio introduced even more erratic profile behavior. In the beta, my imported profiles started to disappear even with cloud sync disabled. When I re-enabled cloud sync as a test, the profiles stayed, but the old random changes returned. As a result, I currently have to start every Studio session by importing my profiles from a backup to ensure that speeds, flow ratios, and other parameters are actually what I expect.
What really stings is that this has cost me many kilos of wasted filament that they will not compensate me for, and it is practically impossible to know whether the profiles are intact without importing them from a known-good source every single time I start Studio.
Yesterday, support informed me that they were able to reproduce the issue using the 1.66 GB profile folder I sent them, but that the Chinese New Year holiday will delay the fix. At least they have finally acknowledged the bug I have been reporting for months.

That’s not one of the weird issues I’m seeing, but I do have that applied already. Sadly, it hasn’t done anything to evict the little ghost haunting my profiles.
Im just thinking of a cs reply about the p2s presets/profiles being limited to Bambu and generics ,could your custom profiles be doing whats now expected ? from the newer models , because it does come across as they may be being reset or deleted for that purpose ,
They have confirmed that there is a bug, although I am not sure exactly where it is located, other than that it is definitely not in my profiles themselves. When profiles were deleted, it was always the same specific ones, some newly created and some older, which makes the behavior feel quite inconsistent and hard to explain.
Even if they introduce something new on their side, any newly imported profile will automatically inherit those new settings by default.
I first noticed the problem when my heavily customized ASA Aero profiles started failing, and I saw that the speed settings were being reset to some default values every time. When I then checked my other profiles, I realized that many of their settings had also been changed. That behavior only occurred while cloud sync was enabled; the beta version started deleting some profiles until I re‑enabled cloud sync, and now the old issue with random setting changes is back.
For the cloud sync part, I have a pretty good idea of how they could fix it, but I have no clear theory yet about what is causing the random setting changes. At the moment, it is still randomly modifying settings even with cloud sync turned off.
All my profiles started out from Bambu Lab presets and I have never used another slicer.
That could be exactly what is happening , consistency could be the bug (assumption), your description makes it sound as if its black ops 7 , with its event tracking being all over the place , not synching correctly or synching inconsistently , due to server side errors or changes.
Also if you look at it from a model profile point of view , im sure you would agree your custom H2c ? profile, is no good for my A1, ( server changes to defaults ? ) inconsistently changing custom saved profiles/presets.
I restarded to print something yesterday.
Fortunately the crazy RN settings reset is gone. I mean I had to align them just one last time, now they are neat.
BUT the prime tower now had start to do that thing of starting to extrude out of the block, I printed it anyway but It is ridiculous.
At least we can now dry while printing.
I guess for MAY we will have a finished product ? Finally ?
Folks the way you overthink is absurd.
It was just about printing speed and acceleration settings. I won’t even mention the amount of printing tasks I needed to notice that the right nozzle was working fast like a freaking dragster. I noticed it just because I randomly entered the room for a check at the right time, after a few questionable quality multicolored prints.
I was literally sick to grind all setting singularly for every print, because the slicer don’t let you just copy the other nozzle’s settings if they “just differ each other”. the difference has to be made fresh and live, so there were no escape from the need of tweaking every single field of one or another. now go into speed tab, count the fields then remove 1/5 and that was the effort
then now I understood the thing about stuff protruding from the prime tower (I printed a pla diorama with pla support as interface) and about this specific thing, changing such settings directly is just vile.
