Over the last few months, I’ve been working on creating a filament management iOS app, which I recently published, titled Filameter.
As I began printing with a wider variety of materials across my projects (engineering filaments, TPU, different colors, etc) I had all my filament piled into various dry boxes, and finding and managing filament became a real challenge.
This app helps address this with the following features:
- Sync spool and print data with Bambu printers and AMSs –– automatically updating your filament inventory as you print
- Tracks and manages filament humidity and drying
- Organize your spools into different storage locations (AMSs, dry boxes, and other locations)
- Scan spools with your phone camera to update filament color and remaining filament
- AI-powered natural language search –– find spools and filter by parameters
- Thoughtful and intuitive UI and Dashboard
