I removed the wire retaining clip from the extruder, and I love it

I was always very frustrated when changing the hot end on my P1S. I had a difficult time getting all the wires under the tiny retaining clip under the extruder cover.

I looked closely at it and realized that the clip doesn’t serve much of a purpose. There is nothing that would interfere with the wires, there is plenty of room under the cover, and no moving parts to worry about.

I cut the clip off 6 months ago, and changing the hot end is much easier. I have not has any issues running without the clip. Has anyone else done this?

Not Yet, but i like the Idea.
It´s the most frustrating Part to put the Cables under that Clip when changing nozzles. I guess i´m gonna try it out.
