I received my Cyberbrick kickstarter pack the other day. It’s the ‘ultimate’ set with two receivers/transmitters. One pair works perfectly, but the second receiver unit seems to be defective - one of the two motor connectors appears to not send any signal. I’ve tried it with two different motors without success. I’m not sure what to do, I can’t figure out how to submit a support request to CyberBrick.
Does the Cyberbrick app recognizes the module and can it connect to it?
Yes, it can connect to it and pair it with a transmitter, but it seems as if the sockets don’t do anything. At first I thought it was a dead motor, but I tried a known-working motor in the sockets and it didn’t work either.
What kind of power are you supplying to the receiver board? I apologize if this has been asked already and I missed it…
I hope you bought two kits this way you can swap the core controller module from the receiver module and put a new core controller module in there that you know that works. That way you can isolate if the problem is the core controller module or the receiver module.
One more thing did it worked before and stopped working or did it never worked?
I had a problem that mine was working but I was able to screw the synchronization feature from the app by accident. So now when I try to connect to the device the green led no longer flashes. Now it just go blue and then back to green. There’s a workaround for this in a thread I created; it’s a reply by @kido.
