I want to return my order due to last firm news, but have a problem

I buyed a bambulab printer some weeks ago. It was defective as it arrived, there was a problem with the head, and I can’t use it. Bambulab sent me the spare part to fix it by my own, BUT it taked long, long time to arrive, I got it on past Friday. BUt after latest news about the limitations on the owners of the printers to use it as they want to do, I decided, obviusly, don’t loose my time changing the defective part, and send the full order back, and move to another brand. Nobody is authorized to change the rules after the game started, and the conditions when I buyed the printer was different.

I understand, as i can’t use the printer because it arrived defective, and I have the proof of the ticked opened same day i received the printer and when I received the spare part, I am on the return period yet. Am I right? What are the steps to send it and get my money back?

You have a warranty with the product, most countries have rules about what that means and the period it lasts.

In most cases, the first few weeks (often 4) give you greater protections.

Contract laws also play apart as the printer is no longer “as advertised”. It is likely BL would use a “you don’t have to upgrade” defence, which can be countered by most countries having legal obligations on companies to provide support to software for many years after purchase.

I would suggest you check with your local country’s laws and write a polite, factual position based on the rules companies are required to operate in the local country.
