I have some stickers already printed on some sticker paper. I can’t reprint them from Bambu Suite, so the current method is this: Import the image of the sticker, use the sticker tool to add a border, and then “Merge” the sticker & border into one silhouette so I can change it from Print & Cut to just Basic Cut. Then manually align, which is the hard part. I can’t get it perfectly aligned as the sticker itself covers my view of the scanned version. Since there’s a bit of overshoot for the border, I can’t get consistently it aligned very well. I’m thinking of trying to make it a “negative” sticker, so that instead of it looking like this:
and covering up the printer’s image of it, it looks like this and I can align it better:
However this is definitely not a great way of doing it. Ideally Suite would let me reduce the opacity of the object I’m aligning, but that doesn’t seem to be a thing at the moment. (side note: Suite is one of the most unintuitive, limiting pieces of software I’ve ever used.)
