Illimination

Hi All
I have just installed a new AMS on my P1S.
All seems to be great except that I can’t properly see what happening and whether the prints are going OK.

  1. The AMS sitting on top of the printer inevitably obscures 2/3 of the bed at the start of the print.
  2. The light is so poor that I can’t identify failures for one reason or another and terminate the print.
I’m going to give the AMS some higher feet to expose more of the bed, but I think if I could just somehow increase the illumination that would help considerably.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and perhaps found a solution
    Thanks

I think most people print a riser and place it on top of the P1S and put LED’s around the perimeter of the riser. Makes a huge difference. That was one of the very first things I made for my P1S. I just recently made a new riser for the printer since I have gained some experience modifying models using Fusion. Do a search on “Riser” in Makerworld or Printables and you will get probably hundreds of model options.

Because of the dimensions of bed and dimensions of printer it is a good candidate for printing overnight
