Important Issue with Bambu Studio 1.10 firmware update

I just recently updated to Bambu studio 1.10 firmware only to have this issue where it forgot my printer info and filament info.

when I click on devices it says to click on the network button and when I do that you get this pop up seen in picture 2.

I asks for a IP address and nothing works under any of the choices.

hopefully someone can help me fix this, because right now it won’t let me print.

so it seems that Bambu Studio software is the problem. If you run into this issue where it keeps asking you for a IP and other info and your printers are missing all together. right click on bambu studio and run as admin and reinstall the program. Bambu studio seems to have issues with windows and it’s security while installing. It will download and run as if nothing is wrong until you go to print. this is in version 1.10.01.50

Just glad I was able to fix it

Could be Bambu Studio could be windows update between 1.09 and 1.10. releases that Bambu wasn’t aware would cause an issue.

Windows updates have done stuff like this on the software for configuring industrial instrumentation I use at least every couple of years. One year 3 “security” updates in a row did this. Had the programmers ticked as the changes were undocumented in Windows.

So either one could be a possible culprit.

That being said, excellent job of tracking down an issue and finding a work around for it! :+1: :+1:

right after I solved this issue Bambu Studio started doing it again. This is a problem they need to fix right away not being able to print anything is more important then any other issues or updates.
