Did something change in studio? When designing signs or lightboxes in fusion I would save each color as a component. Upon opening the step file in Studio, each component would load as a single object. I would select the colors and be good to go. Now the bodies within the components are loading as individual objects. I now have dozens dozens of objects instead of 3-5. Is there a way to regroup them?
Hey, I’ve just noticed this issue as well with my son’s computer. I still have an old version of Studio and when we bring in the same .step file I get components and he gets bodies which is considerable more items to apply a colour to.
Yes, the older versions still work. It looks like Orca does not separate them either. Not sure why this was added in, there should be at least an option to minimize them as a group.
Agreed, it would be fine if there was a setting or a way to combine them but not giving people the option is crazy. I’d love to know who makes these decisions
