I’m looking for recommendations on how to shorten my printing time and not loose to much quality. I’m working on a large order for small parts and need a quick turnaround. There are 122 pieces on the print bed and the print time is currently 19 hours. When I have tried putting the printer in sport mode, it fails every time. See attached images. Any help would be great.
There’s no magic bullet.
There really are only 3 or 4 options and all of them require calibration to maximize output quality. Depending on your level of expertise and patience, it may take hours to properly dial-in the exact best settings for a filament. But I can promise you that it’s worth it.
Here’s the options that first come to mind.
- Make no changes but try Turbo Mode in the speed setting under the device menu or from the control panel on the printer.
- Purchase a High Speed filament and increase the speed in the speed settings under Global.
- Tune your filament and then increase speeds gradually to see where the sweet spot is.
And last but not least, use a third party to farm out your project who has industrial scale printers. Here’s one I used in the past. https://craftcloud3d.com/

Olias, Thank you so much and yes, still somewhat of a beginner. I should be able to figure these out, so Thanks. I’m also thinking about farming it out.
