One thing that keeps coming up is the performance of the P1P controller hardware, transfer speeds are slow and the camera feed is low FPS presumably because of the hardware.
I personally find the buttons unresponsive and buggy and would much prefer a touch interface.
It’d be great if an optional touch panel similar to the X1C was made available for the P1P.

I agree the buttons are terrible they dont do what you push sometimes they stick come on bambulab step it up you have the best machines with a junk screen for the p1p at least allow us to upgrades of others dont wanna spend
It seems the latest firmware update fixes some of the misbehaving of the buttons, nothing in the release notes though…
I don’t have an issue with the way the buttons work. I don’t feel they are laggy or buggy, but the interface is garbage and poorly navigated. No matter how many times I use it, I often have miss-steps that are purely a product of the “odd” navigation lay out.
I would LOVE a X1 like touchscreen even if the screen was still down on quality. It just has to have clear and efficient navigation.
That said… I’m not holding my breath for any significant upgrades going forward. It might have been different if Creality would have held up their end of the competition bargain, but it looks like they dropped the ball.
