Inaccurate print times: can we tweak settings to be more accurate?

I’ve been printing with my Bambu Lab X1C for a month and a half already, and I’m in love with it. However, it seems to give some estimated times that are not accurate. Most of the times, 9 out of 10 prints always tend to be 15 - 20% longer than estimated by the slicer.

Is there anyway we can tweak the slicer settings so that it gets the times correctly? The printer is still really fast and I love it, but knowing my print will take 6 hours and find myself later waiting 1:30h more than expected is somewhat disappointing, even knowing this will happen.

Thank you!

I have the same issue. for a 38h print (1260 filament change), i take more than 50h XD

I have the same problem.
(version 1.5.0.61)
Whether I slice the same part with 0.08mm layer height or with 0.28mm, the software always reports the same printing time. This makes absolutly no sense and is totally useless.
I hope this bug will be fixed very soon.

For large single-filament prints, I have the opposite experience where it over-estimates by 10-15% depending on how much smaller the cross-section of a print is near the top compared to the base. This error is similar to how PrusaSlicer used to be which makes sense given the BambuStudio came from that. OTOH, OctoPrint has a plug-in (can’t recall the name at the moment) that is very accurate usually within 1-2% and is based only on the gcode stream and past performance of the printer itself.

I’m also having the same problem, it said a print would take 32 hours so put it on ludicrous speed but even then it took 70 hours
