Incorrect Bed Temp for all BS filament presets: 65C

Howdy all,
I have an A1 Mini that is awesome and when I swapped out my .04 nozzle to try the .02 nozzle (a failure for a different thread) then swapped back to my .04 nozzle I installed it incorrectly and parts started failing (easy fix).
During my research ai was investigating bed adhesion and I noticed that every Bambu Studio PLA and PLA + filament preset I checked had the bed Temp set to 65C, which is not at all correct.
e,g; eSun PLA+ preset has the bed temp set to 65C while eSun recommends 45-60c for PLA+

it is very possible that i am completely misunderstanding, but the Bed Temp appears to be part of the Filament preset, and it appears to be wrong every time.
so:
Am I missing something?
Does everyone just change all the presets and make their own?
thanks!

It’s deliberate. Check with accurate ir thermometer and you’ll see that actual bed temp is closer to 60 than 65. Also, both a1 and a1mini are open bed slingers so in order not to have prints getting lose bambu cgose higher bed temp. For p1/x1 bed temp is lower.

For most pla its fine, but i had some cheapo pla that needed lower bed temp. Adjust when needed, not when “seems wrong”

Brilliant!
I knew i didn’t know but it’s hard to know what you don’t know, you know?
I’m relieved that it’s intentional.

I waited a long time to get into 3D printing time knowing people who were doing it and I’m blown away by how easy the mini is

Maybe someday I’ll retry the. 02 nozzle fit miniatures but in the mean time my prints are back to perfect :ok_hand:
