Want to ask if anyone else has this problem. Otherwise, this post serves as a bug report.
I have two X1Cs, both on wifi LAN mode. Both can be seen by Bambu Studio (BS). However, one is showing an “Incorrect password” error when trying to connect while the other works fine.
Both BS and the X1Cs are on the latest version, updated a few days ago.
BS: 1.10.2.76
X1C: 01.08.05.00
on macOS Sequoia 15.3.1
I have been having problems where the connection between BS and the machines dropped randomly since about two months ago. But that has always affected both printers. This is the first time only one is affected and the first time the error message shows “Incorrect password”.
Things that I have tried:
Turn off the printer and back on
Forget the wifi network, turn off the printer, then back on and join the newwork
Maybe go to the config file location, and either open it and see if you can make sense of the LAN mode settings, or just rename/move it and see if that knocks some sense in the Bambu Studio. Apparently you can find it like this on macOS…
Same problem here. It’s driving me nuts since weeks.
After at least 2 dozent attemps, i finally managed to connect one of my Minis.
My P1S and other Mini still refuse to connect, although password and IP are entered correctly. There is definitely a bug.
EDIT: Try the following (just worked for me)
Close all Studio sessions & unplug all printers.
Then plug in and start printers (let them start up completely)
Then open Studio and try again.
EDIT2: Oh boy… that seemed to have been luck.
Can’t replicate unfortunately - but maybe it works for at least one.
FINAL EDIT: (possible solution)
I eventually managed to get them connected.
It has taken me 2 hours… No further comment on that.
What have I done you might ask… I actually don’t know.
Just try to switch the LAN mode off & on in-between attempts.
That seems to have made it work (at least for me)
