I mostly print with Pla+ and hadn’t any problem with stringing until the update to 1.7.01 (or 1.7.0 ?) came.
At the moment, stringing ist really a problem with nearly all of my current prints.
Can anyone confirm this?

You say all the filaments became damp during the update?
They all may be wet. The Update only handels something a little different and moist filaments behave a little different. So give it a try to exclude that from the list of potential Problems
Nearly all of my filaments are affected.
A good check would be to go back to an older firmware, but this is blocked from Bambu
This is an example with Bambu PLA Basic.
This is SUNLU PLA+
Just to make it clear.
My X1C performed with all used filaments very good. The stringing ist present since quite a short time. I supect the update to Firmware to 1.7 or 1.7.01.
Ignore that user. It’s all they say to every problem they see on the forum.
Hi Community members
Until now, I couldn’t found anything against for this kind of Stringing.
But I must admit, maybe the model geometry could be a kind of special.
I would ask for yor help.
Can you print the attached model and check whether you have the same problems or not? That would help me not to hunt behind a effect that is common.
Here the test model:
I see the same problem. Since I updated to 1.7.1 all my prints are bad. I could print very successfully with PETG-CF, ASA, PLA but now pretty much all materials show a lot of stringing. This is an example with PETG-CF from a new spool.
My infill supports have been stringing a lot recently using almost completely base settings after a month of use on my p1s
The filament used is bambu pla basic and it has been opened for less than a month so I doubt its moisture would be a problem yet, only major change in settings was .2->.18 mm layer height.
Here’s one with old fillament stock settings and probably a more intense stringing test on the old firmware that worked before bambu decided you don’t own your printer and you have to deal with issues and hope they fix them lol
I am actually the same, simple stringing with every pla filament that is brand new and then dried
Having the same issue here with P1P since the noise cancelling update. Prints that had no stringing before suddenly have stringing. even on brand new filament fresh out of the bag. I use around 30kg/month so it is not ‘Old’ filament. The same filament is not giving any issues on my Sovol SV06+
Confirming I have the same issue with the P1S.
I was printing using IIDMax PLA+ and Elegoo Rapid PLA+, both of which I had well tuned. I dried all my filaments and the issue persisted, very fine stringing on all my test prints. I use a brand new 0.4 hardened steel complete hotend.
Here are some observations:
I rolled back to 01.04.02.00 through the Handy app, reran the vibration test, and the results look significantly cleaner, on a generic PLA profile. It looks as good on a generic PLA profile as it looked after hours of tuning the profile before the rollback.
Chiming in I’m also having this problem now. I had noticed some stringing after updating the firmware to add the noise suppression, but figured it was just that filament. But quite a bit later here, all of my filaments now micro-string and it’s starting to jam fans and affect print quality.
I also keep finding these tiny plastic filaments around my workstation, so guessing I don’t see all of them before they get sucked into a fan somewhere. This…probably really needs to get looked at by Bambu. Microplastics, yay!
I’ve also had this issue. Same filament from the same production batches.
I figured maybe something changed, I did maintenance, swapped nozzles and extruded gear. Went down in temp, flow, PA, retraction settings. Changing fan speeds (0-100%)
Also noticed slight improvement in increasing temps but then other issues arise.
I switched to a cheaper filement, it seems to have much less stringing but I lose other details.
Issues persist with filaments I’ve successfully used for almost a year before December of last year then prints started growing cotton candy. Same profile, same filaments, same prints.
It’s enough that it’s difficult to fix in post production and adds significant labor.
Any ideas or solutions??
i read through all the comments but still don’t see a working solution.
did anyone found out the reason or a solution? cause I am having the same issue with my p1s.
print profiles that works flawlessly before now strings worse every print. and i did dry my filament for 6 hours and it still happens to all of my filament.
tried setting different retraction and z-hop and temperature and doesn’t seem to help much, since i don’t think those are the problem.
There ist a clear cut with Firmware Update to 1.7.x.
I suspect a depency to avtive noise canceling.
