Infill showing through the model

Hi all,

Starting to print multicolour prints with the AMS and using some of the filament as infill. This is showing up through the skin. In the slicer is it the wall loop number I have to increase to hide this? In cura I had to increase the wall line count to stop the infill pattern showing. Does the wall loop number do the same thing in Bambu Studio?

thanks
Josh

Try reducing the infill wall overlap

It is defaulted at 15% so try 5% to -5%

Also if your wall line count is at 2 you might try 3 walls

As well you could try and change your infill pattern, grid is a tricky one to dial in

I use Gyroid infill more often than not but if strength isn’t really required the Lines pattern works well in many cases

To reduce time you could also select infill combination

Thanks. Much appreciated. Does wall count = Wall loops in Studio?

Hi, I increased the wall loops and that helped.

Hi, I went for 4 walls.

So for me, I had a very good improvement in increasing the density and the width of the purge tower.

Hey, what is that called exactly on bambu studio? I couldn’t find.

Increasing wall to 4 and reducing the infil overlap to 5% did not help me.

Hi,

can you post some pictures?

thanks
