Infinite Boost!

Alright so since the “increase” update on users obtaining boost every week when meeting the criteria I’ve been receiving 2 boosts at what seems to be random intervals…

8/22 - (2) boosts
8/14 - (2) boosts
8/11 - (4) boosts
8/6 - (2) boosts

I feel like I find a decent model and then like “yea! , I shall boost you” then all a sudden I get (2) more….

So many boosts yet I don’t honestly downloaded a bunch of models on MW… maybe atleast 1/wk. I’m not complaining but I did want to find out if everyone’s been able to use all their boosts before getting more.

I’m receiving about 2 Boost a week.
I give them to models I like (already printed by me or that I have in the printing queue).
No a big deal.

I’ve gotten 2 boosts total to give out since boosts became part of the rewards system. Printing like crazy but not so much models from MW so not able to rate much to get boosts.

I wish I had boosts to give out. Early on I printed a number of MW models to improve my printer and would like to boost them. I just can’t though.

Boosts aren’t from downloading models, they are from printing a certain number of models a week (I forget the number).

Hi ProtoSpyre,

Are you printing MakerWorld model (instead of downloading) everyweek?

Very helpful! I’m saving this screenshot

@Tanklet We print a lot but there’s a week that I show the dates when I received (4) boosts all at once…

Each model either myself or someone on the team prints does run longer than 30 mins so the only confusion I had was in regards to that one instance of receiving multiple in 1 week when the max is specified being a limit of (2) each week haha😆

Either way I created this post mainly to see if everyone’s been able to exhaust their boosts. By the time I give mine out more come in :joy:

tokens are handed out each week if printing at least 30 mins or longer. @Tanklet linked the screenshot

Not every print has been a successful model or the ideal model. I tend to analyze the model thoroughly as if I was a judge.

I’m not printing models that are for arts and crafts. Each one has more so been functional and serves a purpose but either had lacked in the purpose or the structural integrity was compromised due to the design itself.

The latest craft model I have made was the “Endless Loop” train which I enjoy and had a great time building!

In the week that you got 4 boost tokens, did you bind another new printer with your account?

For info:

I received a new printer on Wednesday and connected it the same day (bound and everything).

Would you have expected me to receive additional boosts?

The last pair I received was on Monday (two days before), those were at the same time I printed a couple of models.

I do not care, it’s hard enough to give them away.

I am just trying to get the full criteria down as it all seems a little up in the air.

Currently, one account can get at most 4 boost tokens via binding new printers. That is to say, you may get boost tokens for binding first 2 printers.

That is me out then, three so far, technically 4 if the now-recalled A1 is in that mix.

All good with me, I still have to find 6 deserving receipts for the current lot.

A lot of pressure on me. I know how Spiderman feels.

“With great Boosts, comes great responsibility.”

I said something about getting too many and the Makerworld overloards heard me. I have been shut, closed, disowned.

Oh well.

The ones from users or the ones to hand out from MW?

LOL, both.
Mostly to give out. I’ve gotten 3 total. I appreciate them greatly but prefer to brighten others day.

I just increased your count by 33%!

I have only received 65 in the last 6 days.

I received one the last week too.
As soon as I added it to the cloud, two new boost where in my account.

Didn’t have to do that, but thank you very much.

We going to Sizzzzer, We going to Siiizzzler…
(obscure reference, 10 points if you get it. 10 imaginary points cause Makerworld doesn’t roll like that)

I considered it like a “make a wish foundation” and it was something you deserved before your little body goes bye-bye.

^^^^ Meant to sound funny, I ‘think’ it achieved it even with the imagery of a near dead child.
