It was planned for the end of March.
But so far I haven’t read an update or anything.

Why Bambu Lab communicate with reddit and not here ???
We would like to let our customers know that our new and improved A1 heatbed is under production and will be shipped by air towards our global warehouses by the end of the month, according to schedule.
Once it arrives, we will contact every A1 owner who opened a ticket and chose to replace the heatbed individually, to arrange the shipping gradually according to the order of submitted tickets.
The guidance for how to perform the replacement has been completed, to help assist you with this process. Our CS team is also ready to assist with this process, should you have any questions.
We greatly appreciate your patience and prompt replies to our ticket inquiries so we can send you the item and voucher in the shortest time possible.
The A1 will also be available to purchase again from our Bambu Store in April.
For now, we don’t have an exact date for when this will happen, but we are working around the clock to bring it back as soon as possible so everyone can enjoy it.
Until that happens, our R&D team is also working on the firmware update for it, to bring further bug fixes and improvements.

I have also registered for the heatbed-exchange, but since I have bought the A1 (in January) I absolutely had not any issues with cable, heatbed or any other electric parts. So I think maybe I am a lucky owner of a fully functional A1
Nevertheless I am waiting for the exchange… Even because I’m excited how much it will cost (with the voucher)…

I have not received any information directly from Bambu Labs concerning my heatbed replacement ticket since it was approved on Feb 9, 2024.
When can I expect shipment?
Received mine 11th of April, installed on the 13th, uploaded pictures and received the OK and the voucher Monday the 15th of April.

My ticket was accepted on Feb 9, 2024. I have heard nothing from Bambu Labs concerning my replacement heat bed.
I should not have to go searching through forums and Reddit posts to get information regarding the status of the replacements.
Initially I thought BL was handling the situation well but receiving zero communication about my ticket is inexcusable, in my opinion.
What is going on!
Just got 2 updates today. First one said my new bed would be shipping in 2-3 days, then about an hour later, a second one with a tracking number saying it had been shipped.
And according to Bambu, now the CPSC is recommending having an electronics tech or electronics repair facility do the replacement instead of a licensed electrician. Somehow, common sense won out.
So now, if you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself, I would say taking it to a computer repair location would qualify, as they repair computers (which are electronics) all the time. And so what if they do so by replacing components? Because that’s exactly what this entails. Replacing parts, running cables, and attaching wiring.
And since I fall into both categories myself, woohoo.
