I’m giving a presentation about Bambu printers to my wood working club. Could someone list all the tests that the printer goes through prior to its printing an object.
Thank you.
bed leveling, nozzle cleaning, and vibration compensation
A Bambulab printer specifically does a leveling of the print bed so that it has best adhesion. It heats the nozzle, the part that extrudes the molten plastic onto the print bed, and also heats the print bed. Then there is an option to do flow calibration for the filament which purges some filament. The bed leveling and flow calibration are optional, but recommended to be done before every print for best results. The Printer also cleans its nozzle before printing, and does an XY calibration. It also homes after each action.
Glad if this helps.
This was a fully complete list and explanation of all the pre-printing processes a Bambulab printer does just before printing.
