Earlier this year, Bambu started shipping spools with (much) larger inner diameter holes that didn’t fit on the A1. Leaving Bambu A1 owners having to print our own spool adapters.
I had requested clarification from Bambu as to if this spool size was to be continued. But all i got was a message that “this issue has been closed”.
So: WHAT HAPPENED? Is Bambu still shipping reels that do not fit on the Bambu A1 printer without an adapter? Because if that’s the case, I really need to switch vendors.
Can you post the difference between the old and new inner diameter? (pics prefered)
I’ve not noticed any change for the inner diameter with the desiccant holders i’ve made either (last refills and reusable spools purchased/delivered week 1 of march) and Bambu are still my bulk supplier for work and need to prepare if something is changing…
Nevermind. I’m an idiot. I did get new filament with a changed reel size, and stored it in a Bambu box and forgot. It was Hatchbox by the way, that I actually have a beef with.
