My SD card is unable to lock in place. My phone has connected, but not my PC.
So, am I unable to print my designs from my phone?
No, you can’t slice a file and send it from your phone. You can install the Bambu Handy app and print files from Makerworld and you can RE-print things from your print history from your phone. Is the PC and your printer connected to Wifi?
. WHen I use my phone, I turn off bluetooth on my PC. When I try with my PC i turn off the phone. I re-boot things when i try to connect, which seems to need to be done when using my phone.
You cant, its software for computers…
Use wifi to connect you computer to the printer, not bluetooh.
The bluetooth is only used to connect the printer to the wifi.
The P series requires an SD card to print as that is where the printer stores the file that it executes gcode from.
How do I do that? I went to Add Printer on my pc but it doesn’t find it.
So Studio doesn’t directly feed the printer with what is needed to print?
Correct, it transfers the entire file at the start of the print and reports back the current layer, nozzle temperature etc to Bambu Studio/Handy as it prints.
This guy must have me on ignore lol…
bit confused. You are saying the SD is needed?
Nope, profile doesn’t show that. Perhaps just a bad case of “selective reading itus”
Yes
I just realized he’s the same person from this thread
Yes, the card is needed, files get transferred to that prior to printing.
Put in a ticket with support to see if there is a repair part.
Meanwhile,
You mean pushing it in as far as I can and hope the tape can keep it in? I saw 1 guy shove the card and a toothpick in and it worked. Not sure I’d go for that 1. But if it’s that or having to replace the circuit board I’d give it a go.
Thanks.
