I was already apprehensive about the cloud requirement for this printer, but I’m having an intermittent issue that I can’t find on this forum. I kinda assumed that the cloud would at least be working most of the time…
My printer is happily connected to my wifi network but the mobile app fails to connect and I can’t send any print files to the printer. It will say “LAN connection failed” if I try to send a file to the SD card for instance. Often i can still watch the web cam stream from bambu studio when I have this issue, further confirming that it’s connected fine.
I have allowed all the ports found on the wiki to my firewall as a test, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. Also, this issue won’t be there at all for several days and then I’m hardly able to connect on other days.
Obviously I wish there simply was no cloud, I have absolutely no use for it, but waiting for a proper local solution (the current LAN only mode isn’t it), anyone have any idea what’s going on here?
