Internet connection problem + many poops

Hello everyone. I am new user of Bambu Lab printer. This is great printer but I have 2 questions/problems.

  1. I have internet connection problem. When i try connect to my home router i got connection error nad can’t connect. But when i make hotspot from smartphone it connects without any troubles. I have the same password in 2 cases. My router have 2,4 gHz so should be okay. Also wi-fi range is okay (router 1m from printer). Someone know how I can solve this?
  2. Its normal that printer “poop” 2 times before every print? It wastes a lot of filament.

Grettings, Damian.

For someone who also can have this problem… I need change encryption WPA-PSK to WPA2-PSK and now it works well.

Can’t say about the internet connection issue as i’ve had 0 problem connecting mine to my network.
However the Printer definitely wastes a lot of material with it’s Poop. I use less when susing the following Flush Options “Flush into objects’ infill” and “Flush into objects’ support” options in ‘Others’ when slicing.

  1. If using the AMS, then yes, that is normal and currently there is nothing you can do to stop that as it is purging the previous filament used on the last model before loading in the new filament. It does this even if the last used filament was the same colour as the first used colour in the next model. I think Bambu Lab could do something to reduce that by not unloading the filament at the end of the print and then keeping track of the last used colour and skipping the purge when it can

It will also poop more if you select the flow calibration option when slicing.

A way around this is to use the external spool when you know you are printing lots of models all the same colour as it doesn’t unload it at the end of the print so will save those 2 purge poops.

i have a question also when i print a multi color print when changing colors it will purge two times.

I seem to remember that if your purge/flushing value is set over a certain amount it will purge multiple times.

Internet connection is different to wifi connection - if your router can connect to the internet (connect your phone to the router by wifi to test), your problem with the A1 mini is a wifi connection issue - check the security type on the router - mine is WPA2(AES)-PSK
Double long poops is due to flow calibration - untick it when sending a print
