I’m trying to print a part with Top surface Ironing with mixed success
Some areas are Ironed, some are not and on the top surface Ironing starts but stops after a couple of passes.
Material is PLA-CF.
Ironing is set to “Top surfaces” with the stranded parameters.
Any ideas on how to improve this?
Looks like your filament is under extruding.
This could happen due to to a partially clogged nozzle.
But I would recommend to start with both filament calibrations in Bambu Studio, just to eliminate that issue. Once that’s done, you can try to increase the filament flow. in the ironing settings. I would also recommend to try these changes on a smaller model, to save some filament. Good luck, and let us know how it went.
