Within the bambu studio feature i’ve been trying to optimise the ironing settings. To be fair they are pretty good straight out of the box. But one feature that is missing is the ability to specify an offset from the ironing surface to the wall edge. Having the ability to do this (Which Cura does) gives you the ability to get a nice edge finish near walls.
What i’ve noticed is that i’ve changed my wall/infill overlap from 10% to 15% to create a stronger print. But the compromise is that this creates a ridge along the top ironing surface where the wall meets the ironing. Combine this with a bevelled edge and you get yourself a little annoying lip.
Having the ability to reduce this overlap or create a offset in mm would resolve this issue.
