Is it ok to pull out the filament from the AMS?

I didn’t find the answer in search :slight_smile:
Is it ok to just gently pull the filament out of the AMS?
Does it hurt anything to pull out that last 8-10 inches?
There is no resistance, but I thought I should get feedback from the experts here.

it doesn’t matter…
you can pull it out.
