Most likely they won’t. Adding features to previous models will make the new one more obsolete.

why
Because the firmware isn’t open so users can’t make any changes and I don’t see Bambu having any intentions of adding hardware features to an “aged” printer model. They would rather add them to an upcoming model. Also the nozzle “lidar” camera doesn’t have the right angle/resolution/focal length to perform the needed calibration.
