I just got a notification that a user created a remix of my ventilation exaust grille
At first I thougth that it is a pure copy, but than I noticed that it is just scaled up
to fit into a 125mm Hole instead of 75mm.
So my question is: Is a pure scaling a remix of a model?
I would say “no”, but I read also other opinions in the forum here. However, as the “copy” did not include a real photo of the print, you can report it.
no.
As per Community guidelines:
Models that only have slight variations but are uploaded as “Remix” will be taken down (Please note that scaling, cropping, coloring, fixing non-manifold surfaces, low poly, etc. are considered minor changes and not “remixes”).

Thanks @ xsynatic ,
now I also found another entry with the same question.
seems like it abusing the system, this person renaldo | Published - MakerWorld seems to have resized dummy 13 a few times and called it a remix, doesnt appear to be any changes other than size which seems like abuse of the points system. If this were legal i could just “remix” 100 different sizes of someone elses model and reap the points… I dont remix people stuff so Im not familiar with how it breaks down
And for the others here is the link to the community guidelines:
