Is P3C a nozzle changer?

I was hoping Bambu Lab’s next mid-tier printer (maybe an X2C or something similar) would feature a tool/nozzle changer, but I was a bit disappointed by the FCC documents that came out a few days ago.
However, seeing this new document uploaded yesterday really surprised me. Could the ‘C’ in the new P3C filing actually stand for a nozzle/tool changer in the P-series?

A few questions for the community:

  • What are your price predictions?
  • Is a November release highly likely at this point, or should we expect to wait even longer?
  • What are your overall thoughts and theories on these new filings?

This is what my vision told me about the price:

  • The P3C will be cheaper than the H3C - :grin: :+1:

Honestly not sure. I did predict that the P-Series would most likely add a second nozzle though. My guess is it’ll have a 2 nozzle setup akin to the H-Series. And “maybe” will have a small Vortek system? Maybe not? But the 2 nozzles are what I’ve seen since the introduction of the P2S. That was designed to have a second nozzle. Beyond that second nozzle, I’ve not a clue.

I want a dual-nozzle next generation enterprise version. Let’s call it a Bambu Lab E3D printer.

Maybe there’s also an “educational version” that gently forces people to read the wiki or the instructions first. The printer could stay in a locked state until you pass a tiny quiz - just a few super‑simple questions to prove you actually looked at the basics. If you fail, it politely refuses to turn on and nudges you back to the documentation. :joy:

Pretty sure it will be a tool swapper like H3C but with 4-6 tools to compete with K3 and U1. Price will have to be in the same region (slightly higher) as those printers.

Yes I think this too. A smaller and larger bed size, the smaller with less tools. Makes perfect sense.

I suspect the vortek system is being phased out.
