Based on what I’ve heard from others talking about this, it seems to be a P2S. However, what I’m seeing are glitches limited to the screen, not the rest of the body. Additionally, it still says “P1S” on it — and while that might not mean much to some people, it’s still somewhat interesting.
I think what they’re suggesting here, given that the glitches are concentrated on the screen and not elsewhere in the image (and that the photo focuses on the screen), is that this could be a touchscreen upgrade, similar to the X1/H2 series printers.

Yeah, this is exactly what I thought, and I bet between $80 and $120.
According to their X-Account, it will be the P2S (would have loved to see a display upgrade for the P1S though…

Panda Touch was a great screen, it would figure Bambulab introduced the security enhancements to KILL competition, and make their own screen. What’s chaps my rear is that they know I would still buy it.

A relabeled Pandy Touch would be a nice option I would buy immediatly if fully supported.
I am happy with the P1S as it is now (modded light). Maybe a better video option.

I’m with you there. I literally just bought the P1P — not knowing better, and have since bought the upgrade kit to get it to the P1S. I hope I didn’t just waste $1,000.00 USD
i just got a P1S LIKE A WEEK AGO. kinda mad now.
I wouldn’t worry about it. I bought my first P1s almost two years ago. Now I have two printers running, each with two AMS, and you know what? The only thing I need is faster printing. And I don’t think the P2s will get any super boost. Other features, like a better camera or smooth timelapse, are irrelevant to me. Although, of course, I’m waiting for the premiere to find out…

Although it’s not likely to be announced as a ‘feature’ I’d definitely like to see the lip removed the the base of the cabinet. It’s so much easier to remove the filament detritus from the base of my H2D than from my P1Ss.
I’ve never really had an issue with the display panel on the old P1S’s, but a touch screen with the same commands as on the H2D would be nice, it just needs to be big enough so that it’s big enough to use with fat fingers.
I have confirmed that it will be called the P2S. I would have gone with something like the P1S Pro, but the P2S works. The biggest upgrade will probably be the screen. I don’t expect them to do much more to the printer, as they don’t want to cannibalize on X1 and H2 sales. Small upgrades here and there. My guess is a better screen, and an different hotend like the H2 and A1 series with flow calibration. Not much more.
I would assume the will bring in a few modifications from the other printers, to eg streamline the available hotends, maybe updates screen, led lights and camera, maybe a RJ45 port but as you say I also do not thing anything groundbreaking but I guess we will see soon
Yeah. I don’t know how much they can improve until it surpasses the X1C. Basically any upgrades they could do to the P1S will bring it up to, or past the level of the X1C. Touch screen, flow calibration, better camera, heated chamber, linear rails, RJ45 port, A1 Mini/H2 series build plate alignment system, H2 series vent system, AI monitoring, a second nozzle, or better purge wiper. I guess we will see in a couple of hours.

Looks like the only things it didn’t get on your list was the heated chamber and second nozzle.
Don’t feel bad. I just got my P1S (replacement for the one I ordered one month ago that had a bad bed) yesterday. Woke this morning and reddit informed me of my “true to pattern” uninformed purchase. My P1S seems to be printing great so bittersweet…
