And I’m still wondering if, after I’ve already passed the inspection and my request to redeem the gift cards was rejected and at the same time the incompatible models were removed from the exclusive program, will this inspection take place again (up to 5 business days) when I try to redeem the cards again? Is this inspection now permanent or random?
Why just not try?
You can’t do anything. It’s on MakerWorld so…
I’ll asked about that in my support message this morning, hopefully they’ll clarify there.
The truth is that I don’t want to publish anything on makerworld for the time being because I passed the inspection and maybe if I don’t upload a new model, another inspection won’t be necessary. But these are just guesses.
So, no one has responded to my support request as of yet, but I did try redeeming again with non-exclusive points, and it was immediately under review. I haven’t published anything new since the rejection, either.
Oh, how I regret that I didn’t redeem gift cards when I had points. I had 70% of them available before this store update. Now only problems and a lot of unnecessary traffic.
Same…same. Ugh. So much for all that work.
Everybody will tell you to redeem immediately as you gather enough points for the stuff you want (the 40[currency] voucher usually). No need to wait and redeem n bulk and get delayed like that.
Yes I know. This is my flaw. I have a mania for collecting and using things at the last minute. To justify myself, I will say that I have never had a problem with bambu cards before and I received each one immediately.
yes the review will take another up to 5 days after the rejection.
as we speak my request is under review after the rejection, with a chance of another rejection, due to some AMAZING USER decided to spam boost my profile.
i mean why regret? just a month ago there was no exclusive point, and the gift card just recently turned to be 10 year validity, i wouldn’t claim the card when it was 1 year, while points has no expiry.
That’s right, the cards only had a year of validity. Still, it doesn’t justify ME because I planned to issue the cards by December 3rd. So the validity of the cards had little importance here.
Still, I don’t understand, since we operate within bambu’s rules, why you should be harassed by this. (I heard about these cases with boosts in another topic)
This is what i don’t understand. Those that are all the time begging for boosts (and they get them) are not complaining about this situation. I see only normal users, mostly those who speak here in the forum, having those issues with the redeem reviewing. I find it really odd because if it was really a way of stopping scams or users gaming the system, why not start with the obvious accounts that are freely open and some even already discussed around here?
Look, i got 3 coupons “under review” for points that THEY gave me. Isn’t it odd? I mean, they know where they came from
There’s something more to this that they are not telling us. This is my opinion only, but still… I only wish us all good luck
Guess I’m not special.
I’ve been nearing the redeem limit since this all kicked off. Finally hit it a few moments ago and went to redeem and was expecting to get reviewed. Nope, nothing went through just like every other time.
Then again I haven’t uploaded anything in months and it takes about 4+ weeks to even get enough points for a single card anymore.
I also do not consider myself the chosen one and the savior of the world. Like you, I believe that I am a small, insignificant piece of the puzzle. However, I found that it was big enough to check me thoroughly
I believe they bit off more than they can chew and losing a lot of money over the points system and boost system. I believe some of the delays and reviews on gift card redemption are because they are attempting to slow their money loss down. The current point system and redemption was not thought through properly. I saw a big loss for their future in day 1. I had around 12 designs I added to exclusive and a couple of them went really well. Suddenly my card redemption is under review and no reply to my ticket in 2 days. The first ticket I out in was responded to in less than 24 hours but, I sent my next response and they havent replied in a few days. Im confident they have taken a huge loss with the points system and probably trying to figure out a way to work it out. You can bet there will be more changes coming.
Tell me, is it our fault for trying to play by their rules? They created these rules themselves and now they are punishing us for playing by them? I will now try to redeem 10 gift cards at once for all my points. Of course, five days of waiting. Yesterday the answer was negative, but one was that some of the models were not compatible with the exclusive program. ok, I accept it, the models were removed from the program by bambu, so I assume my account is now clean. I will be very disappointed if they try to find something from home that they think is inconsistent and rejects my request. I’m a small creator, I don’t show excessive activity on bosts or anything else.
They told me they’re looking for more (in so many words) professional designs. Basically my designs arent good enough although they really dont break any guidelines. They basically said they were too simple. At this point i dont care, they can keep the gift card as well. Ive landed a big job for my company to make stencils for our accessory installation team. Our company employees over 8k people all over the country and im pretty struck by the response i got from Blab and havent made my mind up if i should order their printers and materiald now.
I even accept that in their opinion the models are too flat or not too detailed. But I didn’t even touch my exclusive points, only normal ones. Despite this, I was refused the card because they found models that did not meet the requirements of the exclusive program.
Then there should be more careful control when inserting models. This means that the uploaded model is approved by the system and is visible, and during this time a human hand can check (say within 24 hours whether the model meets the guidelines). Yes, I know that there are a large number of models on Maker World and it may be difficult to make, but Bambu is not a small company and it certainly has enough employees. Even now to check whether gift cards can be issued.
As for you, I understand that you may care less now because you have a large order etc. But there is a group of bambu users who do not own a large company and for them the gift cards were at least a partial payment for their contribution to the maker world community. What I mean is to treat everyone fairly according to the rules they created themselves, and not to look for loopholes in the whole thing.
