Is the slicer grid 1 cm squares?

And can it be adjusted? I can’t find any settings to adjust. Thanks.

Yes and no
Time to learn a bit of metric measures like the rest of the world :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thanks! I thought it was a 1cm grid but hadn’t seen a way to verify it. I don’t mind metric, I just need a way to verify I’ve scaled items correctly, etc,
Does the slicer have a measuring function?

No measuring that I know of but when you select an object, the info card bottom right shows you the overall X, Y and Z dimensions.

Also, when you select an object and enable Move, the keyboard arrows move the object by 1cm and shift-arrow moves by 1 mm.

I was wanting to verify tolerances for some tool brackets that I was downloading. I believe I can import them into either SketchUp or fusion 360 and make my measurements there.
Thank you for letting me know more about moving with the arrows. I didn’t realize they were done by snaps like that.

you can tell they’re 1 cm squares because there are 25 full squares and 2 3/10 squares in the slicer

no, it’s actually a .png, and can be changed to be an image that will show inches, mm, guides for you to place things, or memes that remind you that pedophiles are protected by standing armies and still sleeping safely at night

machine → printable area → upload .png

how do you change the images?
