Hello Michael,

I have the X Carbon combo since 3 1/2 month. I have had various other 3D printers in the last few years and it is the first printer that I send a print job to via WiFi and then forget about it, it prints super fast, looks reliable and above all with a perfect first layer. This was not the case with any other printer. Have hunted through about 6-8 spools of filament so far.

Yes there were 3x problems: 1 clogged nozzle with PETG and straighten. But this is not a Bambulab problem but generally with printers that clog nozzles even with ink jets. Then I removed one of the plugs from the board when replacing the nozzle… within about 10 days I had clarified that with the support and the matching new board had arrived at my house. Even for free, although I wrote it was my fault.
Then I forgot that there was a print on it and started the new one - after that I exchanged the nozzle because it went into the old print and with the new calibration there was the problem that the head now always drove into the bed at the corners - could inside 3 days with the very friendly and helpful technician thanks to a GCode file. That was also my fault.

Yes, even if it takes about 3 days for the technician to accept the ticket - I didn’t have that service with any of my old 3D CHina printers.

Conclusion. I am totally happy with the printer and would buy it again at any time. - No, I don’t get any money for the answer  Best Regards Uwe

I agree with Climber. I have two of the X1C Combo’s and have never had a single problem that wasn’t self-induced. I print everything from basic shapes to quite complex action figures and miniatures. The only time they didn’t come out perfectly was due to poor orientation on the plate. I don’t think you will regret purchasing the X1C.

Hi,
Yeah this is what i am searching for. An reliable printer. I actual run an heavily modded ender 3 and five, the ender 3 can even print with 7 colors. Only the ender 5 has maded round about 40 spool so fsr without problems. But - both of them are slow, and printers which need an hand on it. Now i look for an more professional, faster solution

Sorry forgot, I love the AMS because it is the First Time that it is the first time that the color change and filament change works so easily for me. I’ve always shied away from changing the filament type and color. It works great here, even if the print stops because of a missing filament, no problem at all - it keeps the bed temperature and I insert the new roll or immediately place the replacement spool in the AMS - it then just continues to print.

For filament change i use an printed from an friend developed solution called smuff. Works perfectly. But - the two printers are still slow. I hape i can fix this with the bambu  are there some recomendations what to buy with the printer ? At least i need the combo, one more ams, the splitter. Something else ?

High, think you need the Hub, maybee longer Bowdentub.
And I allways have 1 Nozel in each Size and the Hightemp Plate.

You will need the AMS Hub to connect 2 or more AMS to a printer. Buying the X1C Combo comes with the filament buffer which is only for a single AMS - you will set that part aside and use the optional hub in its place.

For other accessory suggestions, I recommend the Textured PEI plate, extra wipers, carbon filters, and filament cutters since they are cheap and you will be probably ordering enough for free shipping. I went overboard and ordered 1 of just about every spare part they offer - tacking on a few pieces here and there with filament orders.

I also suggest looking at getting a 3rd party Wham Bam PEX plate - it is a lot more convenient than the current Bambu cool plate (although they are market testing a new cool plate that does not require glue stick but it is not yet offered for sale).

I bought 1 of each nozzle size as a complete hot end assembly. I have not had a case to use the .8 yet, but .2 is nice for fine detail and .6 for reinforced filament and spiral (vase) printing.

Last, I found the Bambu filament to be worth (to me) the slight upcharge to other brands with the well tuned profiles in the slicer and the RFID convenience.
