Detailed description of the problem
Half way working today, I noticed artifacts appearing in my prints. I recalibrated the A1 but the ‘ripples’ still appear?
Printer model used
A1
Slicer settings used
I’m using a .4mm nozzle with a profile provided by Overture.
Type of filament used
Overture silk pla gold
Photos that clearly show the problem
The objects on the left were printed after lunch. The ones on the right were printed before lunch.
Did anything change between before and after lunch? Temperature in the room, humidity? Maybe a fan was activated? Was there a filament change between before/after?
The surface that was ‘rippling’ was quite thin so I thickened it up. I think i might have been the infill showing through???. Also moved the printer a more solid table.
Hi, I found the following solution and it worked for me. In the quality - Advanced section, I activated “Smooth Speed discontinuity area” and lowered the “Smooth ciefficient” to 0.1. I also went down in the Speed Box - Acceleration “Outer Wall” to a lower rank. I hope this helps you too.
