Is there any way to tell what is floating?

I hate this software. It says I have a floating part but according to the UI and properties, it looks correct. I’m realizing all coordinates are based on centers and if you don’t half something correctly them BS will put it in the wrong spot. Sometimes it ■■■■■■■ things are floating but you can’t tell what until you hit support, but even then it’s hard to tell why/.

What the ■■■■ every happened to hitting D and having a part drop as far as it can? I’ve never appreciated that missing feature until now. This is ridiculous… but also the fact when you click another part it shifts it based on whatever last operation you did to a previous part is maddening.

When it says, there are floating regions but its wrong, just ignore the error-message.

Slice it and then slide your layer bar down to the first layer, then use the arrow keys to increase one layer at a time, you’ll likely see a piece of the part suddenly appear in the 2nd or subsequent layers.

Another visual assist in Prepare mode is enabling View → Show Overhang (CTRL + L).
Of course that doesn’t help much if the overhang is inside something or otherwise hidden, leaving slice-and-review-by-layer still the best option overall (and not a bad idea to do anyway).
