Is this a Clogged Nozzle?

I wanted to verify that this is a clogged nozzle.

I get this message:

The AMS seems to feed all the way to the extruder (I can see the filament in the tubes). So I removed the AMS and looked at the extruder.

I pulled the bowden tube out of the extruder, heated the nozzle up to 275 and tried pushing a piece of filament into the extruder. It wouldn’t go. I then tried extruding via the front panel and could feel the extruder pull the filament a short distance and stop. I can hear the extruder clicking (light grinding?) but no more filament movement. Nothing is actually extruded. Pushing fairly hard on the filament does nothing. My conclusion is clogged nozzle since the extruder pulls the filament initially but then stops. Makes sense?

When this happens to me its because the filament is caught on the spool, like stuck on the side between the spool and other filament. Try unrolling a bit and then re-rolling it.

The AMS is feeding fine. I think I have isolated it to the nozzle. Inserting a piece of filament directly into bowden tube (PFTE) opening at the top of the nozzle, I can not get any extrusion when using the extrude button of the front panel. I can feel the extruder initially pull the filament a short distance but it stops and I can hear the extruder grinding.

I had similar situation without notification. It was clogged nozzle. I followed “Hot hex wrench unclogging method” and everything was back to normal.
