Is Vision Encoder worth? Is there any big difference if you use it?

I don’t have [and likely wont get] an H2D, so if you want these excellent memes to not be dreams, one of you is gonna have to do the deed. It’s a shame it is bigger than a normal paper printer paper cuz its the perfect DIY experiment for “telephone game” representing signal loss thru repeated reproduction.

It’s catch-22. Anyone who has one won’t be motivated to try your little experiment, because… they already have one, so it’s moot.

Who me? Naw I’m just going to look at my prints and anecdotally say “I think it looks better, $100 well spent!” Why destroy the mystery if I can be happy just assuming the vision encoder improved my prints? If I test the results using calipers I might find out that it wasn’t worth $100+ then where will I be? I mean that little message that pops up saying “the calibration improved results by 100 to 200 microns blah blah blah” tells me all I need to know! I mean the H2D is an honest machine so it wouldn’t lie to me!

Seriously though it drives me nuts…Believe me if I spent $100+ on that vision encoder plate I’d be putting it to test! But I haven’t bought the stupid thing yet. If it goes on sale I’ll buy it but seeing as it can’t even stay in stock I doubt it will go on sale anytime soon and if I buy it and test the results and it is money wasted I’ll be upset.
