Both are on the same LAN but i get timeout error when trying to connect the studio to the printer, any suggestions?
Initial setup? And are you trying to put it in LAN only mode for setup?
Yes. Initial setup, and no, i can connect in LAN only, its when i switch to WLAN where i get issues

On the touch screen, under the settings tab (Bolt icon) choose ‘reset to factory settings’ . I have done it myself. Then you have to run the setup sequence again like when you bought it for the first time.
Antivirus, firewall blocking the BS connectivity?
most likely. resetting did not help so i will get the service provider to check
