Hey everyone, I have an issue with my Bambu lab ptfe tube connector on the back of my P1S Combo. After a small repair on the nozzle, the cable slipped out at the back, and now I can’t connect the connector with the cable (see in the picture in the Link below) because it won’t pull out anymore and keeps jumping back into the printer’s interior.

I’m very grateful for any help, and wish you all a lovely evening!
There’s like “half of a PTFE coupler” sitting on the inside of the rubber just to stop it from being pulled out too far. You can remove the blue C-shaped lock using your bare hands, then slide the rest of the coupler to any position you want. Then insert the lock thing again.
Does the position of this coupler matter? Moved it by accident, am wonder if it’ll have many adverse effects
If you mean this blue locking ring then no…
It literally just prevents accidentally pressing the release and freeing the tube.
No difference which way it is pointing on the connector
Pull it out and you see why…
not the blue locking ring, i meant the whole coupler, I can slide the coupler in one direction without removing the blue locking ring.
does the position of the coupler on the ptfe tube matter? need to be certain distance from the toolhead or something like that?
All god and you probably won’t push the coupler on the tube but the entire things.
As long as all is connected and filament goes through you are fine.
There is a difference, even if it “works” backwards. There is a sticker at the back of the printer showing the correct direction - blue towards printer/tool head and black towards AMS or spool.
Edit: Sorry that is not what you were asking about. Yeah as long as the toolhead can reach the cutter without straining the tube, it’s fine.
I think the intent of those two connections(inside shown by arrow above and outside connector with the blue band) is to trap the ptfe tube inside that rubber diagonal outer tube. So when it’s pushing and pulling filament the ptfe doesn’t move.
I’m going to see if I can take the outside connector away and replace it with the Bambu 4 way splitter, mounted to the back of the printer.
