I have a new A1 Combo and am just wondering whether my camera view seems different than what it should be. Seems to me that it’s pointing too low. All I can really see is the side of the printer. Is this normal? If not, is there any way to adjust how the camera points?
Nope , no problem here! Just the crappy a1 camera which has the worst angle! The only way to fix this is to spend extra money on a new camera which can take hours of modification , especially if your a begginer! Wouldnt recommend doing that
Happy Printing
This is normal as @Dylan.B.A mentioned.
You can move the A1 camera by printing a different bracket from makerworld,
there are a few available.
TBH the A1 camera isn’t that good for a live feed. I don’t bother using it for time-lapse photography , there are much better options
OR, if you really need better video, use something like a low cost webcam.
Thanks for the info. Is it possible to change the camera on the A1 to a higher quality one?
Do not think so, the frame rate is slow on the A1.
There are two main uses for an A1 camera, time lapse and a quick printer check.
Timelapse can be improved by using a different external camera, a point and shoot works well.
My use case is mainly for a quick check on a print job, for that the A1 camera is just about acceptable.
